Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Piping Engineer to join our Minerals & Metals Business line in Brazil.
About the role:
- Responsibilities include performing calculations for utility systems, water and compressed air balance, selection and sizing of equipment, hydraulic transient calculations, flexibility analysis, pipe support sizing, mechanical piping design, development of utility engineering flow diagrams, preparation of technical reports, creation of technical drawings, supervision of construction execution, ensuring smooth progress of services, assisting in the development of area projects, preparation of quantity spreadsheets, interface with client and other disciplines.
The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in calculation spreadsheets, AFT Fathom, AFT Impulse, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, and CAESAR II software.
About you:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical, or Materials Engineering.
- 8 - 10 years of experience as a piping and systems engineer working on engineering projects in extraction, processing, and storage within oil and gas, mining, chemical, or petrochemical industries.
- Strong interpersonal and technical skills, team leadership abilities, problem-solving efficiency, and advanced English language proficiency are essential.
- Spanish language skills are desirable.
