Warehouse Associate Job Description

The Warehouse Associate plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our retail branch location.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Receive and stock merchandise onto the sales floor, maintaining an organized and visually appealing environment.
  • Down-stock reserve merchandise to selling areas, optimizing inventory management strategies.
  • Organize merchandise (front and face) to provide a "grand opening" appearance each day, enhancing customer experience.
  • Follow and execute the priority list and perform related tasks as directed by management, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with locating items without engaging in sales advisory conversations.
  • Effectively refer customers to a Sales team member to answer relevant questions, driving customer satisfaction.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping and/or mopping the floor, taking out trash and cardboard, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Keep work areas and sales floor neat and clean, adhering to high standards of professionalism.
  • May operate a forklift as needed, utilizing equipment safely and efficiently.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong communication skills using speech, vision, and hearing, enabling effective collaboration.
  • Regularly uses hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations, requiring manual dexterity.
  • Regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching required, necessitating physical agility.
  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling medium weights, up to 50lbs, required, demanding physical strength.
