Development Leader for Open-Source Security

This role will focus on leadership and development of a team responsible for security engineering. The goal is to protect the open-source ecosystem and drive innovation in software security.
The successful candidate will have experience in developing engineering talent, representing their team and product from a technical perspective, and driving collaboration with other teams and customers.
- Lead a team of engineers responsible for security features and capabilities.
- Develop and implement disciplined engineering processes.
- Represent the team and product to stakeholders, partners, and customers.
- Collaborate with other leaders to develop and evangelize great engineering and organizational practices.
Requirements:
- Exceptional academic track record and undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience in C programming and good understanding of Linux kernel development.
- Knowledgeable and passionate about software and application security.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with colleagues, partners, and community.
- Ability to travel twice a year for company events.
