Senior Technical Leader

Seeking a seasoned Technical Leadership professional to spearhead our support teams in resolving intricate technical issues for customers utilizing Ubuntu Server, Desktop, and the public cloud.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive CLI expertise with Linux, leadership experience, and a strong customer-centric approach.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a professional support team, encompassing skills development and performance management.
- Operational oversight, shift scheduling, and KPI accountability.
- Ensure customer cases are responded to within SLA and professionally.
- Act as the primary escalation point for customers.
- Maintain exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to the knowledge base.
- Enhance team processes and support delivery.
- Hire, develop, and train support staff.
- Collaborate with leadership on growth and transformation initiatives.
Requirements:
- Extensive CLI experience with Linux (Support, Development, Implementation).
- Leadership and team management experience.
- Ability to work under pressure with a strong customer focus.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in another language is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of Linux Desktop, OpenStack, Public Cloud, or Virtualization.
- Contributions to Open Source projects.
- Software development experience.
- Experience in support organizations.
- Hands-on experience with Canonical's products.
