About the JobThe Indirect Tax Compliance Specialist will be responsible for assisting the Tax Manager in ensuring compliance with indirect tax regulations on MEB. The ideal candidate will have experience in Brazilian Tax Compliance regulations and a strong understanding of MS Excel.
The specialist will perform various tasks including:
- Tax calculation, returns, and other obligations related to ISS, WHT, and others
- Assisting team members with tax calculation, returns, and other obligations related to ICMS, ICMS-ST, and PIS/COFINS
- Creating controls and document standard procedures
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- +2 years of relevant experience in Brazilian Tax Compliance regulations
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Economics, Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field
- Good knowledge of Brazilian Tax Compliance rules
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
Preferred qualifications include SAP and Synchro knowledge as well as good English written and spoken communication skills.
