Expert Indirect Tax Specialist

The Junior Indirect Tax Analyst will guarantee all indirect tax requirements are properly and timely covered according to Brazilian legislation. The junior analyst will identify and mitigate risks caused by internal and external changes due to market fluctuations.
This role provides a solid foundation for future career advancement in tax and finance, supporting the organization's compliance efforts.
- Perform tax calculations and submissions of various documents
- Identify and address tax compliance issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external tax advisors
Key Responsibilities:- Supporting Tax Compliance:
- Ensure accurate and timely calculation of indirect taxes (IPI, ICMS, ISS, PIS, COFINS).
- Submit required documents (EFD REINF, SPED Fiscal, EFD contributions, FCI, DCTF WEB, DIRF, CIAP) within stipulated deadlines.
- Tax Risk Mitigation:
- Identify potential tax risks arising from internal and external factors.
- Develop strategies to mitigate these risks and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Knowledge of Brazilian tax laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in tax calculation software and systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
