Seismic Interpretation Specialist

This role will work within the geophysics team to perform seismic interpretation for Velocity Model Building (VMB) and provide geological support to Processing/VMB teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Horizon picking: regional unconformities, salt horizons, pre-salt section;
- Creating local velocity scenarios;
- Utilizing imaging tools and workflows;
- Performing data quality control: seismic attributes, velocities, maps, etc.
Direct contact with clients to present results and understand their perspective is also expected.
Required Qualifications:
- Analytical approach to problem-solving;
- Innovative mindset;
- Relevant geological background (exploration geology, stratigraphy, basin);
- Experience with Pre-Salt or Brazilian Equatorial Margin is a plus;
- Good understanding of prospect assessment;
- Good understanding of exploration industry;
- Good understanding of seismic imaging;
- Fluent or advanced English communication skills;
- Excellent presentation skills.
