Join us in optimizing the efficiency and reliability of thermal power plants by providing technical support for Balance of Plant (BoP) systems.
Job Description:
As a Thermal Power Plant Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing experienced technical support for BoP systems in thermal power plants, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance optimization. You will conduct root cause analysis of BoP-related issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Additionally, you will collaborate with plant operators, engineers, and customers to ensure safe and efficient BoP system operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for BoP systems in thermal power plants, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance optimization.
- Conduct root cause analysis of BoP-related issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with plant operators, engineers, and customers to ensure safe and efficient BoP system operations.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies and schedules to improve BoP system reliability and availability.
- Assist in designing and implementing upgrades to improve BoP system performance and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Power Engineering, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications in BoP systems are a plus.
- Experience in Balance of Plant (BoP) systems within thermal power plants, focusing on technical support and troubleshooting.
- In-depth knowledge of BoP system design, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, with familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, software, and equipment related to BoP systems; intermediate English and basic Spanish.
