
Plant Manufacturing Lead

The role of a Plant Leader is to oversee plant teams in achieving safety, quality, service, sustainability, and cost targets. This involves enabling business growth through a high-performing team culture.
To ensure sustainable performance and growth, the Plant Leader will build capability throughout the plant team by planning for capacity, resources, and talent in partnership with functional leaders.
Strong collaboration with commercial and EUM colleagues is essential to understand the impact of strategies on manufacturing planning and performance.
The Plant Leader will ensure that plant teams are aligned with Kerry's Vision and Purpose, understanding how their roles contribute to being customers' most valued partner.
Main Responsibilities:- Work with manufacturing leadership to ensure a connected view of plant priorities and connectivity to EUM/commercial strategy.
- Participate in New Product Development processes and provide input into defining NPI criteria for the plant.
- Monitor and improve manufacturing capabilities to deliver against customer expectations.
- Provide input into manufacturing footprint decisions and highlight opportunities and risks at the plant level.
- Collaborate with other plants to share best practice and participate in the Plant Leadership community.
- Drive proactive resolution for areas impacting plant performance through partnerships with relevant functions.
- Leverage Process Technology Centres of Expertise to enhance performance across plants.
- Fabrication, production, or food engineering background.
- Quality and food safety expertise, lean manufacturing knowledge, and continuous improvement skills.
- 10 years of experience in factory settings, including 3 years of site management positions.
- Talent development skills and drive performance behaviors.
