Job Opportunity:

The Procurement Project Manager role is pivotal in driving efficiency and value-added purchasing support.

  • The incumbent will develop and maintain a project procurement strategy incorporating input from customer's tender and prime contract documents, project management plan, project schedule, project design documentation, proposal documents, and project financial data.
  • Key responsibilities include challenging acquisition needs and requirements to promote cost-effective analysis with suppliers during the definition phase of the solution, increasing competitiveness.
  • Work packages will be created including required information for RFQ/RFP, assigned to relevant Category Manger/Category Buyer, and managed supply chain architecture to meet project needs.
  • The incumbent will optimize supply chain costs early in the life cycle to achieve savings against budget, play a key role in defining and implementing strategies to meet U.S. Federal Procurement requirements, and work closely with stakeholders to ensure procurement strategy is communicated and well understood.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in a relevant field of study.
  • Procurement Management or ISM certifications.
  • Project Management certification.
  • Experience performing similar activities.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks while meeting deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to influence to deliver business results.
