Job Overview

The Green Team will contribute to our Play Forever mission by supporting sustainable waste management efforts at the 2025 RendezVan festival.

  • Manage all recycling, composting, and landfill waste within the event footprint (West Village Base area).
  • Maintain guest-facing waste receptacles by ensuring they are clean and functioning properly.
  • Transport waste from guest-facing receptacles to the sorting area or roll-off containers using a side-by-side vehicle.
Responsibilities

Waste Management

Monitor and educate waste receptacles to ensure guests dispose of waste in the correct stream: Landfill, Commingled Recycling, Glass, Cardboard, and Compost.

Participate in waste sorting.

Keep the sorting area organized, clean, and safe.

Track and record the metrics of each waste stream as directed by the supervisor.

Requirements

Interest in environmental sustainability and waste management.

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Ability to follow instructions and work in a team setting.

Must be physically able to lift, move, and sort waste materials up to 30 pounds.
