Job Title: Tax Manager

Our organization's tax department is responsible for ensuring compliance with local and international tax laws while optimizing the company's tax position. We handle tax planning, reporting, and risk management, working closely with other departments to drive efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage direct and indirect taxes, tax compliance, and tax planning, ensuring compliance with current legislation and optimizing the tax burden.
  • Prepare and file timely and accurate tax returns (direct and indirect taxes), including PIS/COFINS, ICMS, ISS, IRPJ/CSLL, etc.
  • Monitor tax compliance processes and collaborate with internal accounting and finance teams to ensure tax obligations are met.
  • Manage and respond to federal, state, and municipal tax audits, coordinating documentation and liaising with auditors and tax authorities.
  • Analyze changes in tax legislation and assess potential business impacts, providing recommendations for compliance.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Law; advanced degree or CPA certification preferred.
  • Experience: Solid experience in direct and indirect taxes, tax compliance, and tax planning.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills with different stakeholders, and knowledge of Transfer Pricing.
  • Language: Fluency in Portuguese (native proficiency) and English (written & spoken).
