Job Title: Tax Professional

This role is crucial for ensuring tax compliance and providing strategic input to support the company's operations.

The ideal candidate will bring a solid understanding of corporate income tax, transfer pricing, and tax planning in the entertainment and digital media environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the business to provide tax advice on new projects, contracts, and revenue models.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for internal controls and regulatory compliance.
  • Support implementation of tax technology and process improvements.
Tax Compliance & Reporting:
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual tax closings, including tax provisions and deferred tax calculations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of direct tax returns.
  • Work closely with the accounting and legal departments to support audits and respond to tax authority inquiries.
Tax Planning:
  • Analyze and interpret tax legislation and regulatory updates, identifying their impact on business operations.
  • Develop strategies to optimize the company's tax position, ensuring compliance with tax laws.
Transfer Pricing:
  • Support the transfer pricing team.
  • Assist in preparing documentation and calculations for Transfer Pricing compliance.
Qualification & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in tax compliance, tax reporting, or corporate taxation.
  • Strong understanding of Brazilian direct tax legislation, including IAS 12.
