Senior Tax Manager Position

This role requires a professional with extensive knowledge of Brazilian tax laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive tax support to the organization's Brazilian operation.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Support executive leadership on new business initiatives, international tax, legislative updates, local tax compliance, and managing of tax audits and controversy.
  • Coordinate and sign-off the preparation, review, and filing of direct tax and indirect tax compliance obligations.
  • Assist with maintaining and reviewing transfer pricing policies and calculations, including overseeing the preparation of transfer pricing studies and updates as needed.
  • Support quarterly and annual tax provisions, including review of tax accounts with local advisors, tax cash forecast, annual budgets, and analysis of potential reserves or uncertain tax positions.
  • Manage tax controversies and audits, working with external tax advisors to review tax notices and inquiries from local tax authorities.

Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in law or accounting.
  • At least 10 years of experience dealing with Brazil tax issues for multinational entities.
  • Ability to operate independently in a detail-oriented environment with strong project management skills.
