We are seeking an experienced Key Tax Professional to join our team at The Walt Disney Company Corporate in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Job Overview:
- Perform tax compliance activities, including preparation of federal, state, and municipal tax filings, such as direct income taxes, CbC reports, and indirect welfare taxes (PIS/Cofins).
- Calculate tax payments and obtain necessary approvals.
- Assist with tax risk management, including preparation of responses to tax authorities' notices and audits.
- Participate in tax litigation, providing support to the legal department on administrative and judicial levels.
- Contribute to transfer pricing documentation and updates to global tax systems.
- Collaborate with tax consultants to analyze new contracts and determine appropriate tax treatment.
- Maintain accurate tax numbers in local statutory accounts and identify process improvements.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 4 years of experience in direct taxes and knowledge of indirect taxes (mainly PIS and COFINS analysis).
- Bachelor's degree in accounting (law degree is a plus).
- Advanced MS Office skills.
- SAP basic skills.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Knowledge of direct taxes/transfer pricing and indirect Taxes (mainly PIS and COFINS analysis). Experience dealing with tax authorities.
