Job Description

The Senior Manager of Consumer Communications will integrate the Communications Team and work directly with leadership to develop and execute the full Consumer Comms strategy, focusing on robust expansion and generating strong positive impact in the food delivery industry.

This position reports to the Head of Public Relations and requires extensive external Communications experience in innovative companies, preferably in the technology segment. Knowledge and experience in the food, beverage, or food delivery segments is a plus.

The Senior Manager of Consumer Communications will be responsible for planning and executing Comms strategies and campaigns, interacting directly with media, journalists, and social media influencers, and managing an external PR agency, in order to:

  • Increase brand awareness in Brazil.
  • Improve brand favorability.
  • Maintain or improve tonality of earned media stories.
  • Maintain integrated brand campaigns (cross-functional work with Marketing, Social Media, Business, Government Affairs and Internal Comms teams).
  • Manage crisis / mitigate negative PR impact
Required Skills and Qualifications

Fluent Portuguese and English are required. Extensive external Communications experience in innovative and fast-paced companies, preferably in the technology segment, is necessary. Knowledge and experience in the food, beverage, or food delivery segments is a plus. Experience working with both traditional media and KOLs/social media is also required.
