Senior Medical Manager

Biogen is seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Manager to lead our Medical strategies and activities for Friedreich Ataxia within the Brazil Medical Organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing medical plans to strengthen our leading position in Brazil and its portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Medical Launch, strategies and activities for Brazil Biogen
  • Responsible for outlining the brand plan, working cross-functionally
  • Support Marketing and Market Access, foreseeing opportunities in Public and Private markets
  • Engage with medical societies and support PAGs team on strategy
  • Work on projects to ensure prompt response to patient queries
  • Collaborate with local patient organizations and Regional Public Affairs to educate about the disease
  • Support field commercial and corporate account efforts related to presenting clarity around clinical and scientific information supporting therapeutic decisions in patient care

Requirements:

  • Healthcare-related degree, with Medical preferred
  • Fluent Portuguese and English
  • Home base in São Paulo, with a hybrid working model
  • At least 5 years' experience in a medical role in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience with high-cost therapies, product launch, and private & public markets
  • Previous experience as Medical Manager is preferred
