Job Title: Chief Security Officer

The Chief Security Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the security and well-being of employees, infrastructures, and information within their country or area of responsibility.

About the Job

This is a high-level security position that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of security protocols and procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing security-related activities across all Global Business Units and Engie entities operating in their country or region.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement an annual or multi-year budget to support security-related activities
  • Advise senior management on security issues and ensure alignment with the Group's security policy
  • Maintain and develop liaison with local authorities, government agencies, and military organizations as necessary
  • Identify, monitor, and respond to threats to employees, assets, and facilities
  • Implement physical protection measures to ensure a secure environment for employees, including travel advisories for business travelers
  • Participate in protecting sensitive information, raise staff awareness, and contribute to information classification and investigation of leaks
  • Prepare for security crises and participate in crisis management as needed
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as security, law enforcement, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a security-related role, preferably in a similar industry or sector
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications
