Senior Application Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and remediate vulnerabilities in our applications, guaranteeing the highest level of security and compliance.
  • Drive comprehensive threat modeling sessions to safeguard critical systems and APIs, proactively mitigating potential risks.
  • Design, implement, and oversee automated processes for securely updating application dependencies, leveraging cutting-edge tools like Semgrep, Snyk, Trivy, and Burp Suite.
  • Integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines, utilizing AI-powered detection and prevention techniques to stay ahead of emerging threats.
  • Contribute to runtime security initiatives, such as container/Kubernetes hardening, Runtime Application Self-Protection (RASP), and eBPF-based detection, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Build and maintain a centralized security dashboard to track remediation status and metrics, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the organization.
  • Provide real-time support during cybersecurity incidents, responding promptly to minimize downtime and maximize business continuity.
  • Partner with the Cloud Security team on security automation tasks and monitoring improvements, driving continuous improvement and efficiency.
  • Conduct proactive research on new threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques relevant to our architecture, staying at the forefront of the latest developments in the field.
  • Collaborate with the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team to develop and deliver internal security awareness initiatives, empowering employees with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed.
