Security Governance Leader

This is a senior leadership role focused on Information Security, reporting directly to the CISO or equivalent.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement InfoSec strategies, governance models, and compliance frameworks across all business units.
  • Liaise closely with cross-functional teams (Legal, Risk, Engineering) to embed security practices into daily operations.
  • Oversee the development of policies, procedures, and standards that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage audit programs, assess risks, and coordinate remediation efforts to ensure effective risk management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define, monitor, and report on key security metrics and service-level agreements.
  • Drive security awareness initiatives, including training, phishing simulations, and internal communication campaigns.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging employees to identify and address potential security vulnerabilities.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Information Security leader, with expertise in governance, compliance, and risk management.
  • Strong technical knowledge, particularly in areas like cloud security, secure development practices, and incident response.
  • Effective communication skills, enabling collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
