Cloud Data Engineering Role

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and maintaining cloud applications and related services.

Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing data pipelines, including metadata-driven solutions that enable seamless delivery of data. You will collect, parse, manage, and analyze large datasets, and design, develop, automate, and support complex applications to extract, transform, and load data.

To succeed in this position, you must have at least 5 years of experience building and optimizing data pipelines and data lakes/warehouses in a cloud environment, preferably Azure. You should also have a strong understanding of core concepts such as Azure data storage, Azure compute, data connections, APIs, data bricks, data factory, data lake, and Azure Synapse on cloud.

Around the required skills and qualifications:

  • Strong background in cloud computing, particularly Azure;
  • Experience with data pipeline development and optimization;
  • Knowledge of data storage, compute, and related services;
  • Understanding of API, data bricks, data factory, data lake, and Azure Synapse on cloud;
  • Familiarity with ETL design and development (SSIS);
  • Skills in SQL (Joins, co-related queries/sub-queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, views);
  • Experience with MSBI Stack is a plus.
