Role Overview: As a Specialist Engineer, you will play a crucial role in various phases of bidding, FEED, or project execution. You will support the defined scope of work from inception to completion, guiding both local and global team members. Your focus will be on delivering engineering solutions for projects and proposals while ensuring adherence to quality standards, company values, budgetary constraints, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design offshore and subsea structures and equipment.
- Develop engineering solutions tailored to customer specifications for proposals and projects, optimizing costs and timelines.
- Identify and assess risks related to engineering tasks and product qualifications, serving as a technical representative.
- Ensure engineering documentation complies with quality standards, codes, and regulations set by TechnipFMC and clients.
- Oversee and coordinate project design and associated activities, including subcontractor management when necessary.
- Collaborate with peers and project support functions, monitoring service execution and equipment installation to uphold best practices and quality standards.
- Guarantee that project deliverables are completed at all Design Review stages.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficiency in English.
- Valid CREA certification.
- Experience in equipment project management.
- Familiarity with subsea structures and equipment projects.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Experience with FEA software, specifically Ansys.
- Basic understanding of AutoCAD and/or Inventor is a plus.
