Job Description:
As a Senior Finance Advisor, you will serve as the face of finance for opportunities or challenges prioritized based on value and risk. Your responsibilities will include delivering a full suite of finance support, including tax, treasury, accounting, and structuring, autonomously and coordinating the involvement of global centers of expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver the full suite of finance support (including tax, treasury, accounting, and structuring) autonomously and coordinate the involvement of Global Center of Expertise
  • Independently ensure that a proper functioning control framework is in place and that risks are properly understood, reflected, and managed
  • Independently ensure value and risks are made transparent and understood in both decision making and in performance management
  • A fit for purpose performance management system is in place
  • Brings new proposals of high-value activities to the Pool Manager who decides on the resource allocation. Actively look for opportunities to reduce nonvalue-adding finance activity ('demand management')
  • Maximize use of shared service center in delivery of processes

Requirements:
What We Need From You:
  • Must have legal authorization to work in Brazil on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Production Engineer, or related
  • Ability to work in a complex and matrixed global organization
  • Strong commercial acumen and business partnering focus
  • Knowledgeable in Financial Planning or appraisal
  • Ability to effectively work with shared service centers
  • Expertise across the spectrum of finance competences
  • Strong communication skills (storytelling) evidenced by good verbal/written presentation and ability to partner and influence effectively with stakeholders
  • Ability to gain the confidence of various internal and external parties building on strong knowledge and understanding of the business drivers, value, and risk
  • Problem-solving mindset with the courage to ensure professional financial rigor is applied to commercial decision-making process and risk management bringing analytics and insights to the table
  • Must be fluent in English
