Job Title: Aviation Procurement Specialist

About the Role:

This is a full-time position based in Rio de Janeiro.

The Aviation Procurement Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process of aviation parts, equipment, and services. This role involves strategic sourcing, supplier management, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with aviation regulations. The specialist will work closely with various departments to ensure efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to optimize procurement processes and supplier relationships. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities. Develop sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings, improve quality, and ensure supply chain resilience.
  • Procurement Management: Oversee the procurement of aviation parts, equipment, and services, ensuring adherence to specifications and timelines. Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including order placement, supplier coordination, and delivery management with logistics department.
  • Supplier and Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers and vendors. Monitor and manage supplier performance, addressing any issues related to delivery, quality, or service.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels of aviation parts and equipment to ensure adequate supply and minimize stockouts. Implement inventory control measures and optimize inventory turnover rates.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in procurement or purchasing within the aviation industry, with a strong understanding of aviation parts, equipment, and services.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Aviation Management, or a related field. Advanced certifications or degrees may be advantageous.
  • Advanced / Fluent English is mandatory.
  • Technical Skills: Excel, Outlook, ERPs, PowerBI
