Job Title: Technical Program Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to join our team. As a Technical Program Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the successful delivery of technical projects and programs.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and excellent program management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Fluency: Demonstrate strong technical competency in relevant technologies and systems to effectively communicate with engineering teams, understand technical challenges, and make informed recommendations and escalations.
  • Program Planning/Continuous Planning: Facilitate ongoing planning sessions to adjust priorities and ensure continuous alignment with business goals within and across your portfolio.
  • Program Management: Own and drive end-to-end technical implementation programs and workstreams focused on enhancements to internal tooling for employees.
  • Execution Management: Monitor progress and recommend necessary adjustments to surface risks of program execution to key stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders at all levels to ensure visibility, provide updates, and address concerns.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies in partnership with accountable leaders.
  • Dependency Management: Identify, document, and manage dependencies across multiple projects, technologies, and teams.
  • Tooling and Data Hygiene: Ensure the use of standard project management tools and maintain high standards of data hygiene.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in technical/information science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong experience in technical program management overseeing key projects with high visibility to internal or external customers.
  • Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
