We are seeking a highly skilled Security and Loss Prevention Specialist to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for leading the effort to effectively provide security services and asset protection to protect people, product, and data within our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Enhance, track, and report on key performance indicators to drive performance improvements and achieve desired outcomes.
- Ensure internal controls are in place to meet Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements.
- Investigate internal and external theft, fraud, and conduct interviews as necessary.
- Collaborate with other departments to drive performance excellence in security services.
- Align performance and actions with other departments and clearly articulate the security vision and values of the organization.
- Identify, promote, and implement security best practices within our facilities.
- Serve as a liaison and security subject matter expert for facility management.
- Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methods to drive process improvements and increase efficiency.
- Effectively partner with internal customers to evaluate current and future security services, processes, and initiatives.
- Coordinate data collection and conduct analysis to generate strategic and tactical interpretations.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Advanced English skills.
- Experience in security services, asset protection, audit, risk management, inventory control, quality assurance, or related field.
- Proficient with MS Office Professional Suite, including intermediate knowledge of Excel.
- Flexibility to work weekends and/or overnight shifts as necessary.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma concepts and certification.
- Strong familiarity with databases, including querying and analyzing.
- Interviewing and interrogation experience, with Wicklander and Zulawski certification a plus.
- Experience with warehouse or distribution center services.
- Workplace Violence and/or Business Continuity experience.
- Awareness and implementation of best practices related to physical security systems, investigation techniques, and distribution center loss mitigation techniques.
