Are you a seasoned professional with expertise in logistics optimization and surge operations?
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Optimization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for designing and refining logic that powers surge activation across different levels.
Your primary focus will be on building and implementing strategies that balance cost, availability, and service quality. You will work closely with product and business intelligence teams to define surge eligibility rules, thresholds, and automation opportunities.
In this role, you will also monitor system performance, identify edge cases, and develop systematic response models to address market-specific challenges.
You will benchmark industry practices, propose improvements to our current surge framework, and collaborate with regional and city leads to gather operational feedback.
Additionally, you will document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and build dashboards/tools to track surge effectiveness and fleet responsiveness over time.
Requirements- 3-5 years of experience in supply chain strategy, product operations, or logistics planning (food delivery, ride-hailing, Q-commerce preferred)
- Proven track record of designing or optimizing operational frameworks, with experience in freelance-heavy or gig-based labor markets a strong advantage
