Business Intelligence Specialist

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Specialist to facilitate the development, implementation, and management of Power BI solutions that translate business needs into actionable insights. This role involves creating dashboards, reports, and data visualizations, as well as providing technical support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and design effective visualizations
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security within the Power BI environment
  • Monitor report and dashboard performance, identifying areas for improvement
  • Create and maintain documentation for Power BI solutions, including report specifications and technical designs
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven initiatives successfully
  • Analyze datasets to uncover patterns and insights, then develop actionable recommendations
  • Maintain standardized documentation for processes, reports, and data models
  • Train end-users in Power BI reports
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Expertise in Power BI Desktop, DAX, Power BI Service, querying tools, and related technologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret data meaningfully
  • Understanding of data modeling techniques and principles
  • Ability to anticipate customer needs and prioritize them accordingly
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions related to Power BI reports and dashboards
  • Understanding of data governance principles and the ability to maintain data security and compliance
  • Proven experience working in a data operations role, preferably with 2-4 years of experience
  • Previous Power BI reporting or support experience is highly valued
