Within the Enterprise Cloud Services division, our Project & Program Office is dedicated to exemplary project execution aimed at expediting S/4 HANA cloud integration in the marketplace. The Project Office oversees project planning and execution, managing escalations throughout the project lifecycle. The Project Manager will engage with Enterprise Cloud Services clients across the LAC region.

Key Priorities of the Project & Program Office:

  • Establish and maintain a world-class, efficient organization to assist our clients in their transition to next-generation business solutions.
  • Enable SAP clients to harness the innovative capabilities of SAP HANA and the SAP Cloud consistently.
  • Accelerate advancements on the S/4 HANA platform.
  • Oversee system landscape provisioning, application installations, upgrades, and migrations.
  • Manage project execution for all ECS Delivery Projects.
  • Serve as the primary liaison to the customer project team to ensure effective communication.

These priorities are integrated into the Project & Program Office to support the accelerated growth and adoption of SAP HANA, ensuring that SAP clients have a secure and efficient pathway to transition into the ECS Managed Cloud.

To enhance our delivery capabilities, the Project & Program Office seeks skilled, hands-on professionals in both application and technology domains, ideally those interested in the intersection of these fields.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for all aspects of the ECS onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition into SAP RISE.
  • Collaborate with various teams (commercial, operations, product support, etc.) to facilitate customer onboarding to the cloud.
  • Manage the provisioning and upgrades of system landscapes within the ECS Private Cloud.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure while consistently delivering value to customers and the organization.

Your Qualifications:

  • Proven competencies in IT Project Management.
  • Strong business insight combined with a technology/solution background.
  • Affinity for processes and a strong orientation towards process improvement.
  • Extensive experience with IT backend technologies.
  • Experience in executing system owner responsibilities.
  • Proven ability to work with diverse teams and individuals.
  • Experience in cross-functional team collaboration.
  • Proactively manage project escalations.
  • Experience in overseeing SAP release upgrades.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
  • Strong teamwork skills are essential.
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in managing landscape provisioning, installation, migration, and upgrades, with at least 3 years in a customer-facing role demonstrating excellent de-escalation skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Solid understanding of SAP Cloud solutions.
  • Experience as an SAP Basis Lead with strong hands-on expertise (preferred).
  • Knowledge of networking related to major cloud providers such as Google, AWS, and Azure (preferred).
  • Experience with data center migrations (preferred).

Work Experience:

  • Overall, 5+ years of relevant professional experience in managing landscape provisioning, installation, migration, and upgrades, with a minimum of 3 years in a customer-facing role showcasing strong de-escalation capabilities.

Language Proficiency:

  • English (advanced/fluent in both written and spoken forms).
  • Portuguese (native/fluent in both written and spoken forms).
  • Spanish (a plus).
