Job Title: Manager, Data Loss Protection

Bunge is seeking an experienced Manager, Data Loss Protection to join our Business Technology (BT) organization. As a key member of our Risk and Security team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing strategies to improve the management of sensitive information, educating employees on data compliance, and managing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) DLP capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement data protection roadmaps and implementation plans to achieve strategic goals.
  • Work closely with Business Technology Partners (BTPs) to ensure data protection requirements and security controls are embedded in digital transformation and product roadmaps.
  • Provide expert advice and educate employees on important data compliance requirements, promoting a culture of data protection and compliance across the organization.
  • Manage and perform monitoring of DLP systems, rules, events, and incidents, responding to events and assessing potential business impact.
  • Draft and amend internal data classification and protection guidelines and procedures, ensuring compliance with privacy and data protection regulations such as GDPR and LGPD.
  • Identify threats, establish protection goals, objectives, and metrics, and discuss with CISO and peers for continuous improvement of Bunge's Information Security Program.
  • Manage BTRS staff, providing day-to-day guidance and enabling individuals for successful progression in their careers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience formulating information cyber security strategies, managing technology risks, and translating business requirements into technical security requirements.
  • 3+ years of experience in data protection compliance or related field.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage sensitive and confidential information.
  • Expertise in data protection laws and practices, including deep understanding of GDPR and other privacy regulations.
  • Strong project management skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
