Job Title: Operations and Maintenance Specialist
Description:
The operations and maintenance specialist works in the field, providing technical support to wind farms and developing predictive, corrective, and preventive maintenance activities. This role requires technical competence, quality of service, attention, and safety in daily activity.
- Provide technical support to wind farms, monitoring and developing predictive, corrective, and preventive maintenance activities;
- Perform equipment inspections;
- Install and commission components in wind turbines;
- Monitor and execute the retrofit and repair process;
- Elaborate technical specifications;
- Analyze failures and carry out negotiations;
- Perform unscheduled maintenance (troubleshooting) on wind turbines according to maintenance, safety, and best market practices procedures;
- Carry out activities related to the exchange and maintenance of wind turbine components and related tasks necessary for the task;
- Carry out inspections, reports, analyses, campaigns, retrofits, and other activities necessary for proper wind turbine functioning;
- Promote safety inside and outside the wind turbine according to safety standards and good market practices, being responsible for team activities and safety;
- Perform administrative routines of stock, security, and operational procedures;
- Prepare activity and checklist reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Full Technician degree in Electrical, Electrotechnical, Electromechanical, or related fields;
- Availability to reside in Bom Jardim da Serra-SC and travel to other parks whenever necessary;
- Ability to manage and work efficiently with multiple levels of people and culture in a matrix organization;
- Ability to inspire, engage, and drive new ideas and innovation;
- Good interpersonal and communication skills;
- Fluent English is an advantage;
- Active CREA or CF registration.
