Role Overview
Ruby Labs is a pioneering tech company that develops and operates innovative consumer products. Our diverse portfolio spans the health, education, and entertainment sectors.
We are seeking a Business Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our business development operations, you will maintain and execute our business development workflow and operations, establishing relationships with companies that contribute to our tech stack.
Responsibilities
- Perform market research on data suppliers using tools like Google, Similarweb, and Semrush
- Identify data suppliers that match our acceptance criteria
- Conduct outreach to data suppliers, request data samples, and trial API access
- Evaluate data quality provided by the supplier
- Negotiate better pricing with data suppliers
- Create a map of data suppliers covering our needs across different regions
- Manage data suppliers' pipeline from outreach to samples/API evaluation
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in market research & analysis
- Understanding of business development leads and pipeline management
- Strong understanding of competitors' analysis
- Advanced knowledge of Google spreadsheets
- At least 1 year of experience in business development & outreach
- Fluent English
Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
