Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sourcing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for driving sourcing strategies that meet business needs and optimize costs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Purchase logistics services by negotiating contracts, managing suppliers, and ensuring service levels align with business objectives.
  • Implement supply base strategy through thorough assessments and development of suppliers to meet business needs.
  • Ensure effective risk management of the supply base by monitoring financial and service KPIs, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain relationships with senior managers and directors to facilitate communication and drive business results.
  • Seek stakeholder engagement and work collaboratively with internal customers.
  • Comply with policies, systems, and controls to ensure operational excellence.
  • Provide market and financial insights to inform sourcing decisions and participate in external forums to stay up-to-date on industry trends.
  • Manage commercial, financial, and ethical requirements while working closely with strategic operations managers.
  • Use contracts to mitigate risks and ensure relevant services are covered.
  • Regularly review and update relevant KPIs to measure performance.
  • Conduct regular supplier performance reviews for top suppliers.
  • IDentify and manage supplier collaboration initiatives to drive efficiency and innovation.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, economics, or related field.
  • Fluent English language skills (verbal and written).
  • Proven experience in procurement and/or logistics.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to anticipate macro-economic changes and their impact on business environment.
