Create engaging player experiences that foster mastery and exposure to game mechanics while immersing players in the world of Fortnite.

We seek talented designers who can craft goals for players that build their experience, exposure, and mastery of new and existing game mechanics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Craft goals for players that build their exposure, experience, and mastery of new and existing game mechanics while immersing them in the world of Fortnite.
  • Own the design, vision, and outcome for a season's quest, NPC, and special-event content that fosters fun and fulfilling gameplay experiences.
  • Collaborate closely with production partners to identify, prioritize, and evaluate design work.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience shipping or maintaining titles as a game designer, working on quest content or goal-based progression systems.
  • Demonstrated talent for empathizing with players and a deep understanding of player motivations and forms of play.
  • Strong interest in BR and multiplayer games with an understanding of what makes them work and the benefits associated with live-service multiplayer space.
