Job Description:

• We're seeking an experienced Technical Innovation Director to lead the development and execution of systems implementation projects in the LAM Region and manage the execution of engineering services in Maintenance contracts in the LAM Region.">

Responsibilities:

• You will contribute to the identification, definition, and implementation of innovations through studies and technical research to create value for the company, increasing the efficiency and operational excellence of teams in the LAM region.">
• As a Technical Innovation Director, you will technically lead projects in your area of expertise, checking scope, schedule, costs, monitoring their execution, and analyzing impacts to ensure that projects meet all prerequisites, procedures, and necessary criteria.">
• You will provide technical advice to other areas in your area of specialization regarding the development of projects, processes, new systems, and methodologies, evaluating and providing support for problem-solving according to project requirements.">
• Your role will involve developing and obtaining approval of technical specifications, documentation, budgets, and deadlines according to project needs, creating methods to evaluate project development through the definition and implementation of indicators for cost control, efficiency, productivity, flows, among others.">
• You will analyze opportunities and related risks, generating strategic actions to mitigate these risks and ensuring adherence of projects to customer needs, promoting interaction with team members in the LAM region, including third parties, contractors, suppliers, as well as with engineering on site.">
• As a key member of our team, you will ensure alignment with customers regarding the delivery of solutions, seeking feedback and generating innovations to drive and deliver improvements.">
• You will participate in project meetings and present all technical aspects of project assignments.">
• Your task will also include ensuring the quality and efficiency of services provided by third parties, checking the scope of work to be carried out and the results presented, as well as conditions and costs, including suppliers contracted by other Units in the LAM region.">
• Promoting excellence in projects by implementing the best market practices through benchmarking with companies, customers, and suppliers, taking into account the particularities of different countries in the LAM region.">
• You will identify and analyze deviations and apply procedures for their resolution, guaranteeing efficiency and using experience and technical knowledge for the development and implementation of preventive and corrective actions.">
• In addition, you will develop test procedures, monitor, and evaluate system tests, providing support, suggesting modifications, new tests until the expected results are achieved.">
• Sharing experiences with engineering teams and training new employees in the LAM region is another aspect of this role.">
• You will ensure that the project is in line with and meets the company's health, safety, and environment policies, checking the particularities of each country in the LAM region.">
• Your role will also involve supporting the areas of contract management and Project Management for requests for contractual scope increase in contracts (new scope of work, impact on costs or time, risks involved, etc.).">
• You will work jointly with the client, leading the company's efforts in resolving technical issues of the project, interacting with customers, subcontractors, and others, participating in meetings with the client and sub-suppliers, presenting specific actions of each engineering task.">
• Advising purchasing areas in the Region and customers on equipment and service requirements and informing potential suppliers, identifying and selecting potential new suppliers serving the LAM region, evaluating, and agreeing on the contracting of suppliers of materials and services.">
• You will coordinate regional support levels (LAM) 1 and 2, executing this support, ensuring response times and resolution of support contracts, as well as triggering and monitoring support levels 3 and 4 with global development centers.">
• Defining a schedule and monitoring the training of engineering teams in the LAM region and services in proprietary systems tools, in their specialties.">
• You will ensure that terms of support contracts are fulfilled (Reports, Certifications, Case Control, and Hours control in each activity).">

Requirements:

• A professional degree in Computer Science or Electronic Engineering is required.">
• Experience in the electric field, knowledge of High Voltage environments within substations and Network control portfolio such as SCADA, DMS, OMS, ADMS, CLP programming, computational development.">
• Creative designs and solutions for customers.">
• Leadership experience as an Engineer, coordinating engineering teams or services.">
• Advanced English level.">

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
