Job Summary

We are seeking a Procurement Project Manager to lead our procurement activities. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with strong project management skills and experience in procurement to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Procurement Strategy: Develop and maintain the project procurement strategy using input from customer's tender and prime contract documents, from the project management plan and project schedule from Project Management, project design documentation from Engineering, proposal documents from Marketing, and project financial data from Finance;
  • Challenge Acquisition Needs: Challenge the acquisition needs and requirements and to promote design to cost analysis with the suppliers, during the definition phase of the solution, in order to increase the competitiveness of the solution;
  • Create Work Packages: Create work packages, including all required information to enable an RFQ/RFP (statement of work, delivery schedules, budget, etc.).
  • Assign Work Packages: Assign work packages to relevant Category Manager / Category Buyer
  • Manage Supply Chain: Manage the development of the supply chain architecture to meet needs of the project with support from Regional and Global Category Management
  • Optimize Costs: Optimize supply chain costs early in the life cycle ensuring savings are achieved against budget;
  • Meet Federal Requirements: Play a key role in defining and implementing strategies to meet U.S. Federal Procurement requirements including offsets,
