Your Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate dLocal's operations for regulatory compliance, maintaining a proactive posture.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with supervisory authorities and regulators through transparent communication.
  • Support audit preparation and response, ensuring accurate and timely coordination.
  • Maintain a compliance calendar, submitting all filings, reports, and regulatory returns on time.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote best practices, raise compliance awareness, and support informed decision-making.
  • Monitor new laws, regulations, and industry trends to advise the business and adapt processes proactively.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field (Master's degree is an asset).
  • Proven experience as a Regulatory Officer, Legal Advisor, or in a similar role, preferably in financial services, payments, e-commerce, or law.
  • Strong knowledge of Brazilian regulations, especially Central Bank of Brazil requirements.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) — other languages are beneficial in our global setting.
  • International experience in a financial institution, e-commerce platform, or law firm is an advantage.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to navigate complex environments with analytical rigor and practical business acumen.
