Job Summary: As a Field Cybersecurity Consultant, you will play a critical role in advising and collaborating with ESET customer CISOs and other corporate stakeholders. Your primary responsibility will be to help operationalize their cybersecurity strategies and programs, providing executive-level guidance and serving as a primary cybersecurity expert point of contact.
Functional Responsibilities and Duties:
- Work closely with large corporate customers and institutions as a CISO counterpart and second opinion cybersecurity expert.
- Complement senior account manager and/or country lead with cyber-solutioning knowledge and be responsible for penetrating target accounts and developing multiyear customer relationships and business cooperation on existing strategic accounts in assigned markets.
- Lead or support customer discussions to define, structure, and scope building blocks of possible cybersecurity solutions that solve customer needs, in specific customer contexts.
- Drive business opportunities and customer discussions to increase the share of ESET technology platforms, products, and solutions where ESET delivers value, while being knowledgeable and aware of multivendor hybrid environments and process and people capabilities required to increase customer cyber resilience.
- Convince customer CISOs with a solution or offering, supporting the CISO with arguments and case so they can directly influence board or stakeholder decisions.
- Scope, prepare, and conduct technical pre-sales workshops, Proof of Concept, or other forms of pre-sales activities with a focus on justifying the solution value for specific customers.
- Respond to and deliver RfX technical documents and materials when part of the opportunity team or formal tendering process.
- Work with customer CISOs and their organization to leverage the use and impact of deployed ESET technology, products, services, or bespoke solutions.
- Collaborate with Global CS Services Lead, Global CS Delivery Lead, and Global Market Offering Lead organizations to ensure customer value creation and satisfaction.
- Perform conceptual, systemic, creative, and methodical activities.
- Carry out other work according to the instructions of a managing employee in accordance with the activity of the department and the company.
Requirements:
Education:
- Masters degree – IT, cyber security
Experience:
- 15+ years of experience in the cybersecurity industry with a deep understanding of the CISO agenda in large-scale organizations and public institutions (previous CISO or CISO advisory experience preferred).
- Track record of building and delivering corporate cybersecurity programs with complex solutions in hybrid/multivendor environments.
- Experience with different cybersecurity vendors and technologies, understanding of process and organizational aspects of cyber-resilience (on top of technology), knowledge of cybersecurity enterprise-level architecture, product portfolio, and services.
Knowledge:
- Able to independently negotiate issues and crisis resolutions towards mutually acceptable outcomes.
- Market & client development and management skills.
Language:
- Local market native + English language at C1 level.
Communication:
- Able to effectively communicate and represent ESET externally at different levels, including CxO levels in corporate clients.
- Able to communicate effectively within the organization to build support for CS division targets and integrate.
Personal Characteristics:
- Entrepreneurial, self-starter & self-driven.
- Team player and able to adapt to different cultures quickly.
- Able to operate at senior executive level, but drill down to relevant details if required.
- Sharp decision-making and outcome focus.
