Senior Tax Project Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Project Specialist to lead our fiscal project initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax regulations and compliance, combined with exceptional project leadership skills.
- Develop and implement fiscal strategies during SAP S/4HANA deployments;
- Facilitate collaboration among international teams, conducting discovery sessions and scoping fiscal requirements, and performing fit-gap analyses to identify gaps between existing business processes and standardized SAP S/4HANA solutions;
- Collaborate with the tax department and business stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure alignment with the new system;
- Guide and support local implementation teams throughout the SAP S/4HANA Tax implementation journey, from preparation to go-live;
- Utilize standard methodologies, including tools such as Track&Release, Docupedia, to monitor actions, update documents, and manage workload;
- Oversee all stages of fiscal implementation projects, ensuring timely completion of deliverables, alignment with agreed scope, execution and verification of fiscal tests, effective communication with stakeholders, and support for local teams for a successful go-live.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead fiscal project planning, coordination, and implementation;
- Develop and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication;
- Design and execute fiscal test plans, ensuring accurate and reliable results;
- Provide guidance and support to local implementation teams, addressing technical and process-related queries;
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations;
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements:
- Strong background in tax regulations and compliance;
- Exceptional project leadership and management skills;
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams;
- Proven experience in fiscal project implementation, including SAP S/4HANA deployments;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions;
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
