Workday Grants Configuration Specialist
About the RoleThis position plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our post-award administration processes. As a Workday Grants Configuration Specialist, you will be responsible for configuring, optimizing, and maintaining the Workday Grants Management module to support efficient management of research expenditures and labor distributions.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze Grant Expenditures: Utilize data analysis tools to review research expenditures and labor distributions in Workday, providing critical insights for federal reporting and internal decision-making.
- Configure Workday Modules: Maintain alignment with institutional business practices by configuring and updating Workday Grants Management modules.
- Troubleshoot System Issues: Identify and resolve system-related problems impacting grant award setup, invoicing, financial reporting, and effort certification.
- Collaborate with Teams: Partner with functional teams to map and test updated business processes and grant workflows, ensuring seamless integration.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, knowledge of post-award processes, and proficiency in Excel, data analysis tools, and report generation platforms (Workday PRISM or equivalent).
