Job Title: Senior Counsel

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled lawyer to advise our global loan operations team on commercial lending matters. In this role, you will provide legal support to senior leaders and their teams worldwide, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to address operational feasibility considerations.

  • Providing day-to-day legal advice to loan operations senior leaders and their respective teams globally on commercial lending matters
  • Coordinating with outside counsel and internal teams to address operational feasibility considerations at all stages of the loan product life cycle
  • Participating as a legal advisor in cross-line of business projects for the firm's loan operations teams, including initiatives focused on data, transformation, digitization, artificial intelligence/machine learning, and process improvement
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Must have at least 5 years of relevant experience

Prior experience with private equity or sponsor transactions, syndicated lending, secondary loan trading, real estate lending, specialty asset classes, and international transactions is preferred

Law degree. Attorney candidates must be in compliance with all relevant licensing requirements prior to commencement of employment

Excellent writing skills, strong attention to detail and a good team player

Polished verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills

Ability to manage projects and work independently
