We are seeking a skilled Home Builder to join our team. As a key member of our production operations, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality homes that meet sales orders and specifications. Your expertise will ensure efficiency, safety, and productivity in all aspects of home building.
Responsibilities- You will perform manufacturing production operations assigned to your team, adhering to standard production methods and safe work habits.
- Ensure all homes meet sales orders, prints, specifications, and building codes while maintaining a high-quality standard in a timely manner.
- Practice safe work habits and observe relevant OSHA regulations.
- Work in a team environment to produce products that conform to our quality standards while achieving productivity objectives.
- Protect company assets, report needed maintenance, keep assigned areas clean and orderly.
- Assist the Team Leader and Area Coordinator to plan and organize manufacturing activities, communicate anticipated material shortages, identify required tool maintenance, and report any quality or productivity issues.
- Meet attendance requirements and be available for the start of shift at the required time.
- Versatility and willingness to transfer into various departments when necessary.
- Ability to walk, climb, and lift at least 50 lbs, plus other physical duties as needed.
- Ability to communicate efficiently and clearly with other team members.
- Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings is greatly desired.
- Ability to walk or stand for at least 8 hours.
- Bending, squatting, and stooping are required.
- Must be able to lift above shoulder level and reach to floor using proper lifting techniques.
