About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Engineer to join our team at AVEVA. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to our customers under AVEVA Edge applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support customers with AVEVA Edge applications, leveraging our unique knowledge of the platform.
  • Be involved in the support, deployment, and maintenance of key client projects.
  • Collaborate with Distributors, System Integrators, Certified System Integrators, and OEMs for additional support services.
  • Assist clients worldwide with HMI/SCADA advanced technical applications through phone calls, e-mails, and remote computer connections.
  • Develop and customize new product templates.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of HMI/SCADA software, such as AVEVA Edge, InduSoft Web Studio, Wonderware, Intouch, Panel Builder, Panel Mate, FactoryTalk, or similar software.
  • Familiarity with Industrial automation components, including Programmable Logic controllers (PLCs) from manufacturers like Schneider Electric, Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron, Eaton, and Beckhoff.
  • Knowledge of VBScript structured programming language (or similar languages including C, C++, C#, VB, or similar).
  • Knowledge of relational databases, such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, or MySQL.
  • Experience with web-based technologies, including HTML, HTML5, CSS, ActiveX, or JavaScript.
  • English language proficiency (Intermediate-Advanced).
A Plus
  • Spanish language proficiency.
