About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Policy Manager to join our team in Brazil. As a key member of our Policy team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic public policy engagement and expansion initiatives for our global blockchain project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a policy engagement strategy to build new business opportunities with government partners and create public policy conditions for expansion.
  • Stay up-to-date on regulatory and legislative changes in the region and advise on their impact.
  • Evaluate and prioritize strategic paths for game-changing regulatory change.
  • Build and nurture relationships with government leaders, partners, and other stakeholders to carry out legislative strategy and development.
  • Partner with organizations and educational institutions to align with our global mission.
  • Support the company's work with strategic advisers and consultants.
Requirements
  • At least ten years of experience working in government, campaigns, and/or advocacy in a highly regulated field.
  • Existing government and advocacy contacts in Brazil with the ability to develop and nurture new contacts.
  • Experience developing successful legislative and regulatory strategies at both national and international levels.
  • Native Portuguese and excellent English communication skills, with comfort speaking in public.
  • Ability to work on multiple priorities simultaneously in a demanding environment.
  • Availability to travel at least 25% of the time depending on business needs.
