Monetization Lead

The primary objective of this role is to develop and execute comprehensive strategies to maximize revenue through advertising within a product or platform.

  • Develop Monetization Plans: Create and implement detailed plans to optimize revenue generation from advertising, considering factors like user experience, retention, and overall business goals.
  • Optimize Ad Performance: Continuously monitor, analyze, and optimize ad performance across various channels and platforms. This includes A/B testing, segmentation, and other techniques to improve key performance indicators (KPIs) like click-through rates, conversion rates, and revenue.
  • Manage Ad Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with ad networks, SSPs, and other partners to ensure optimal ad delivery and revenue generation.
  • Explore New Revenue Streams: Research and evaluate new ad formats, platforms, and revenue streams to drive growth and innovation.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product, engineering, marketing, and data science teams to integrate monetization features, optimize user experience, and align strategies.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience in ad monetization, preferably within a relevant industry (e.g., mobile gaming, online publishing).
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw actionable insights to optimize ad performance.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders, including technical teams, business leaders, and external partners.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with ad serving platforms, ad networks, and relevant tools for tracking and analyzing ad performance.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement long-term monetization strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to ad delivery, performance, and user experience.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or software development, or equivalent field. MBA preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in business development.
  • Work Format: Able to work in a hybrid format.
