Class Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Class Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about education and has a strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives of children.

Job Summary:

  • To provide support to teaching staff in maintaining a safe and stimulating environment that promotes pupil development academically, socially, and personally.
  • To assist in preparing resources and keeping track of classroom stationery and materials.
  • To communicate effectively with teachers and pupils through spoken or written communication.
  • To aid individual pupils or small groups by providing support when asked to enable them to fully participate in activities.
  • To promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils within the classroom.
  • To adhere to the school's professional standards and set a good example in terms of use of uniform, punctuality, attendance, and general conduct.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Pedagogia Diploma or Pedagogia in course is desirable.
  • Previous experience or desire to develop a career in education.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to establish positive professional relationships with staff and pupils.
  • Lifelong learning attitude.
