The SAP Ariba Guided Buying team is responsible for feature development and maintenance of the cloud-based application.
The application enables users to perform daily searches and purchases, ensuring these purchases follow proper corporate policies and approvals.
- Develop and maintain Java code in the Guided Buying microservice.
- Work directly with customer support teams to reproduce customer issues, gather system logs, and investigate problems.
- Develop and maintain the backend database with HANA database.
- Collaborate closely within a large engineering team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-on experience in Java and web application development.
- Experience with CI/CD tooling, Git/GitHub workflows.
- Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI frameworks for building intelligent features and developer tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Cloud Architecture.
- Experience with enterprise software platforms.
This role involves working on a high-profile project that requires collaboration and effective communication skills.
