Key Responsibilities:- Monitor, identify, and analyze events from various sources to spot threats and respond with urgency.
- Collaborate with globally distributed teams to achieve tasks.
- Collect metrics to measure Security Operations efficiency.
- Audit security measures for compliance norms.
- Implement security policies and procedures.
- Refine processes and update standard operating procedures.
- Participate in incident investigations and threat hunting engagements.
- Exposure to web and API security, coding standards, WAFs, advanced persistent threats, botnets, and mitigation techniques.
- Hands-on SQL proficiency is essential.
- Knowledge of managing production environments using Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Threat Hunting, web hacking, web data analysis, or WAF experience.
- In-depth knowledge of web technology and web application security.
- Understanding of cybersecurity threat landscapes and attacker mindsets.
- Experience in scripting and programming (JavaScript, Python).
- Interest in keeping up with industry trends and market demands.
- Appreciation for working with data and metrics in security contexts.
