Drive market coverage and reporting on daily trading activity in biofuels and feedstocks.
Key Responsibilities- Lead market analysis, gathering and reporting daily physical trading activity, bids, offers, and other relevant information.
- Build and manage a database of industry contacts to contribute to assessment processes and develop business relationships with market participants.
- Identify opportunities to refine methodology and launch new price assessments.
- Write weekly commentaries and daily rationales explaining trends driving prices.
- Produce news stories and multimedia content.
- Represent your organization at industry events and meetings to drive market adoption.
- Two to five years' experience in the biofuels market or comparable agriculture market, accompanied by awareness of exchange traded derivatives.
- Strong communication skills demonstrating good listening, clear writing style, and strong verbal skills.
- Able to communicate across various groups and personalities internally and externally.
- Existing network of industry contacts is beneficial.
- Fluent in English and Portuguese.
- Excellent English writing skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with effective problem-solving skills.
