Responsibilities
  • Help steer finance in the right direction, ensuring compliance with accounting, regulatory, and tax requirements.
  • Work with regional finance teams to ensure financial compliance and control local audits.
  • Be the main point of contact for finance teams to understand new entities and prepare finance for changes.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to ensure systems are prepared for regional requirements.
  • Review monthly and quarterly financials to ensure accuracy.
  • Lead the Regional Finance Team in Brazil.
Requirements
  • Experience in financial controlling, audit, advisory, or management accounting within Banking, FinTech, or financial services.
  • Deep understanding of Brazilian financial reporting standards and IFRS.
  • Data analysis and process management skills, as well as stakeholder management.
  • Commercial insights provision and decision support as a finance business partner.
  • Self-starter, detail-oriented, and comfortable with uncertainty.
  • Ownership of being the Financial Director for Wise Brazil, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
